Our office is tucked away in Sai Chember, which is right above the Dakshin Hotel in CBD Belapur. It is a very convenient spot because we are so close to the railway station. You can hear the trains passing by if the windows are open. We do engineering services here, which basically means a lot of time spent looking at technical drawings and talking over project details. The office is a bit small and we have papers spread out over most of the desks. It is not the most organized looking place, but we have our own way of finding things. We usually grab lunch from the hotel downstairs because it is easy and the food is decent. Most of the staff has been working here for a long time. We do not really bother with fancy suits or corporate talk. We just wear what is comfortable and get the engineering work done. The commute is the best part since the station is just a short walk away. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up a design, but that is just how the job goes. We are not a giant company with hundreds of employees. We are just a local team doing our best with the projects we get. If you are ever in Belapur near the station, you will probably see our sign above the hotel. We just keep our heads down and focus on the technical side of things.
