Steel Art Industries

Our workshop, Steel Art Industries, is located at units 14 and 15 in the Devendra Industrial Estate. We are right in the middle of Lokmanya Nagar, specifically Pada No. 2 in Yashodan Nagar. It’s a bit of a journey to get here if you aren't from this side of town, but it’s where we’ve set up shop. The place is mostly filled with sheets of steel and the heavy equipment we use to shape it. Working with steel is loud and heavy, so we’re all used to the noise by now. We don't have any corporate offices or polished floors here. It’s just a concrete floor that’s seen a lot of use over the years. We spend our time welding, cutting, and grinding down edges until they’re right. The air usually smells like burnt metal and sparks are always flying in one corner or another. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. We just take the orders that come in and try to finish them without too much trouble. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door, but we just move the materials out of the way. Most of the guys here have been working with metal since they were young. We don't use big words or have complicated processes. We just look at what needs to be made and then we make it. It’s honest, physical work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday every single week.
