Sri Nanjundeshwara Traders

Mahape Village isn't the easiest place to get to sometimes with all the traffic around M.I.D.C., but we’ve been here at A-508 for a while now. Most days it’s just us handling the stock and making sure things get loaded onto the trucks correctly. Sri Nanjundeshwara Traders is basically just a place where we get the work done without too much fuss. It gets pretty dusty out here in Ghansoli, especially when the big lorries pass by the gate all morning. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just checking the inventory in the back. Some days are slower than others. When it’s quiet, we just sit near the front and watch the street. People think trading is complicated but it’s mostly just moving things from one point to another and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the day. Our space here isn't fancy. It's got desks, a few chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of paperwork piled up. We know the neighbors around T.Tc. pretty well by now. Everyone is just trying to do their bit and head home. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just wait it out. It’s a standard routine. We open up early, check what’s arrived, and try to keep things organized. It's not glamorous work, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. The chai guy comes by around eleven, and that's usually the highlight of the morning.
