Shivanand Traders

Shivanand Traders is located at 14, Priyadarshini. We are right near Agarwal Hall on Manpada Road in Dombivli East. It’s a lively area, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. There are boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling in the back room. We’ve been here in Dombivli for a good number of years. You get to know the regulars after a while. Sometimes the traffic on Manpada Road is a nightmare, but we’re used to the noise. We open up early and stay late most days. It’s just a small family-run thing, really. We don't use a lot of fancy software to track things, mostly just a ledger and some notes. It works for us. The walls are covered in calendars from years ago that we never took down. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are inside. We just focus on getting people what they need and moving on to the next task. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. Being near Agarwal Hall makes it easy for people to find us if they’re new to the neighborhood. We aren’t trying to change the world, just trying to run a decent shop and keep the shelves full. We see a lot of people every single day and that is fine by us.
