We’re over at Flat 2B in Dew Highland Heaven. Sector 5 is usually pretty quiet, which helps when you're trying to figure out tech problems. It isn't a huge setup, just a few of us in a flat that we turned into a workspace. Smarthawk Technologies Llp started because we wanted to do our own thing without the usual office drama. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, but we don't mind the stairs much. We spend most of our mornings drinking tea and looking at code or talking to clients on the phone. It’s not fancy, but it works for what we need. You can find us here most weekdays, usually huddled around laptops. We chose this spot because it's easy to get to and it doesn't feel like those cold, empty corporate parks. Sometimes the neighbors pop by, or we just hear the sounds of the neighborhood while we work. It’s a bit messy with cables everywhere, but that’s just how it goes when you’re building things. We don't have a big receptionist or a lobby with plants. It is just a regular door with our name on it. We like it this way. It keeps things simple and lets us focus on the actual work instead of worrying about how the office looks to strangers.
