We've been operating Six Seasons Ready Mix Concretex Private Limited out of the TTC Industrial Area for a while now. Being in Navi Mumbai means we deal with a lot of construction projects across Thane and the surrounding spots. The weather here changes a lot, so getting concrete mixed and delivered on time is always a bit of a scramble, but we manage. Most days start pretty early to beat the traffic on the main roads. It gets dusty at the site, especially with the raw materials coming in and out, but that’s just how it is in this industry. We have a crew that knows the local routes well. It helps when someone needs a load at a specific time and the signals are backed up. Our spot at D 240 is basically where all the coordination happens. There isn't much fancy about the office, just desks, some old logs, and people talking over the noise of the machinery. We just focus on keeping the drums turning and getting the mix out to wherever it's needed in the city. It’s hard work, and the heat in Maharashtra doesn't make it any easier, but the team stays on top of the schedule. We’ve seen the area around Nerul change quite a bit since we started. Sometimes things get busy, and sometimes it's a bit slower, but the trucks are usually moving through the dust. We often stop for a quick chai while waiting for the next batch. It's a simple life, but it keeps the city growing.
