Hari Om Traders

Our shop is Shop No. 3, located right near Sai Mahal Society at Pawai Chowk in Ulhasnagar. It’s a very busy neighborhood, as anyone who has been to Ulhasnagar knows. We are surrounded by other traders and the sounds of people haggling all day long. Inside the shop, we have bags and boxes stacked up to the ceiling, leaving just enough room for us to move around. We deal with a lot of different goods, so there is always a delivery truck unloading something out front. It gets really crowded on the sidewalk, especially when the new stock arrives and we have to move it all inside quickly. We start early in the morning and usually don't close until late in the evening. The air is always a bit dusty from the constant movement of goods. We have a small desk tucked into the corner where we keep the ledgers and do the billing. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you will usually see one of us sitting there even during lunch. The heat in Ulhasnagar can be tough, but we have a big fan that helps a bit. We’ve been at this spot near Sai Mahal for years and we know all the regulars who pass by Pawai Chowk every day. It’s hard work, moving heavy items and keeping track of everything, but it’s what we do.
