Shop No 12, Kusum Vihar. It’s right near the Banjara Hotel in Virar. If you know the area near Tirupati Nagar, you know it gets quite busy around here. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. It’s a basic shop where we keep all our fabric, lights, and wooden frames. Virar is a place where there is always some function or the other happening. Weddings, local festivals, or even just small house parties. We spend a lot of our time loading and unloading trucks. Sometimes we’re working late into the night because the hall is only available after 11 PM. It’s hard work, mostly physical stuff. Our team is just a few local guys who know how to tie knots and hang drapes quickly. We aren’t really into the whole big marketing thing. Most people just find us because they saw our work at a neighbor’s wedding or someone told them about us at the market. The Banjara Hotel is the best landmark to tell people. We usually meet there or just have people come to the shop to pick out colors. It’s not a polished office with air conditioning and fancy chairs. It’s a workspace. We have piles of stuff everywhere, but we know where everything is kept. We just try to get the job done so the place looks decent for the guests and the family is happy with the setup.
