Sip Tools

We are located at unit W-169 in the MIDC Phase II area. It is a standard industrial zone where every building looks a bit like the next one. We specialize in making tools and jigs that other factories use in their production lines. Our shop floor is dominated by a few CNC machines and some manual grinders. The air usually smells like cutting fluid and hot metal. We have a small group of workers who are very skilled at what they do. They spend most of their shift looking through magnifying glasses or checking measurements with calipers. We do not have any big signs or advertisements. Most of the people we work for have been sending us orders for years. It is a quiet place in terms of talking, because the machines are usually making a lot of noise. We keep the benches as clean as we can, but metal shavings always seem to find their way into everything. There is a small desk near the front door where we keep the ledger and the phone. We do not bother with fancy presentations. If the tool we make works properly, that is the only thing that really matters. We usually wrap the finished parts in oiled paper and box them up ourselves. It is a straightforward way to make a living and we take pride in the accuracy of our work.
