Micro Tools Thane

Up here in Thane, we are based in the Aggarwal Industrial Estate in Chithalsar Manpada. Micro Tools is what it says on the sign, and we have been in this B-9 unit for quite some time. The estate itself is always busy with people moving crates and vans coming in and out. During the monsoon, the roads around here get pretty messy, but the work doesn't stop. Inside, it’s a bit cramped because we have a lot of precision equipment squeezed into the space. We handle small, delicate tool work that requires a lot of sitting still and focusing under bright lights. It's a different kind of work than the heavy engineering you see in some of the other units nearby. Our staff are mostly local people who live around Thane or commute in on the buses. We usually have the radio on in the background while we work on orders. Customers come by to pick up their tools or just to ask if we can fix something they broke. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room; you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't busy with a machine. It's a bit of a maze getting to our building if it’s your first time, but once you know the estate, it’s easy. We just keep our heads down and get the work done without making much of a fuss. That’s how we’ve always done it.
