Mayur Industries

Mayur Industries is located right in the middle of the Wagle Indl. Estate. We are at Plot No. D-10 on Indra Road, inside the Mssidc Compound. It’s a noisy area with all the other factories around, but we like it here. We've been operating out of this spot for a good number of years now. My father started the place and I just kept it going. We handle metal parts and some fabrication work. It’s not the cleanest job in the world. Your hands are always covered in grease or oil by the end of the shift. A few machines have been with us since the beginning. They’re old but they still run fine if you know how to talk to them. Our team is small, mostly just local guys from around Thane who know their way around a lathe. A fancy office isn't something you'll find here. If you want to talk, you usually have to find us on the floor. It gets hot in the summer under the tin roof, but we keep the fans going. We mostly do small batch orders for other businesses nearby. Nothing too complicated, just solid work that stays put. Sometimes the truck can't get into the compound because it’s so crowded, so we have to carry things out to the road. It’s just the way things are done here. We have to be careful with the measurements because even a tiny mistake means the whole part is useless. It keeps us on our toes every single day.
