Shri Ram Hospital

Shri Ram Hospital is located at Owla Naka on Ghodbunder Road in Thane West. If you know Thane, you know that Ghodbunder Road is almost always packed with traffic, and we are right in the middle of all that activity. The hospital sits in a building that has been here for a while. When you walk in, the first thing you see is our small reception area. It is a bit tight when there are more than five or six people waiting. We have some plastic chairs lined up against the walls. The windows look out onto the main road, so you can see the trucks and cars going by all day. It is a bit of a noisy location, but it is convenient for people living in the new apartment complexes around Owla Naka. We have a few doctors who have their regular hours here, and the nursing staff is usually running around between the different rooms. The hospital is kept clean, though the tiles are old and have some stains that won't come out. It is not a shiny new medical center, just a local hospital where we do our work. We have a small lab for basic tests and a pharmacy counter. Most of the people who come in are our neighbors who live just down the road. We just try to keep things moving and help out whoever walks through the door during our shift.
