Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Ltd has this small office in Thane West, over in Lokmanya Nagar. It’s specifically in building number seven, room three hundred and three, at Shri Siddhivinayak Park. Most people think of huge hospital buildings when they hear the name, but this particular spot is more of a local administrative or support unit. We handle a lot of the back-end tasks here. It’s tucked away in a residential area, so it’s not like the main hospital gate where there’s constant movement and noise. We have our desks set up and we spend the day dealing with records and coordination. It’s quiet enough that you can actually focus on the paperwork. Sometimes we have to talk to the main office or coordinate things for people in this part of Thane. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking data on the screen. The room isn't very big, but it’s enough for what we need to do. We usually get our snacks from the little shops downstairs when we have a break. Living and working in Pada No 4 means you know the local vibe. It’s a hardworking neighborhood. We aren't here to do surgeries; we are here to make sure the administrative side doesn't fall apart. It’s regular office work with a lot of filing and data entry. We just show up, do the work that’s assigned to us, and make sure everything is filed where it belongs before we head home for the evening.
