Chinmaya Hospital

Our hospital is sitting on Plot No 201 in the MIDC Industrial Area of Vidya Nagar. Being out here in Saravali means we deal with a lot of folks who work in the nearby factories. It’s an industrial zone, so there’s always the sound of trucks and machinery in the background. The hospital itself isn't a massive glass building like you see in the city center. It’s a more practical place where people come when they have a fever or get a cut at work. We spend a lot of time just keeping up with the walk-ins. The dust from the road gets everywhere, so the cleaning staff is always busy with the mops. In the mornings, it’s usually quiet until the first shift change happens at the plants nearby. Then, we might get a rush of people needing checkups or papers signed. The location is a bit far out for some, but for the workers here, it’s right where they need it. We have the usual beds and equipment you’d expect, and the doctors are usually around chatting with patients in the corridors. It’s a bit of a plain building, but it does what it’s supposed to do. Sometimes the power goes out in the MIDC area and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. It’s just the way things go in this part of town, and we’ve all gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial life here in the Vidya Nagar patch.
