Shri Om Sai Hospital

We are located in the Suchak Apartment building on Murbad Road. It’s a bit unusual for a hospital to be in an apartment block, but it works for us. Shri Om Sai Hospital takes up the ground floor and part of the first floor. Murbad Road is a long stretch of tarmac that gets very busy with trucks and buses. Because we are in an apartment building, we have to be careful about not making too much noise for the neighbors living upstairs. We have a small entrance where people park their scooters. Inside, the ceilings are a bit low, but we have painted everything white to make it feel more open. We spend a lot of time talking to people from the surrounding flats who just walk over when they have a headache or a fever. The staff here is small, just a few of us who handle the front desk, the cleaning, and the nursing. We have a tiny kitchen where we make tea for the patients' families. The traffic on Murbad Road never really stops, so there is always a low hum of engines in the background. We have a few rooms for people who need to stay the night, and we try to keep them as comfortable as the space allows. It’s not a huge, gleaming medical center, just a local hospital in a residential building. We just do our daily tasks and try to keep things organized despite the limited space.
