Shri Kamakshi Decorator & Caterers is located at Bhayander East, right by the Rakhial Char Rasta 4. If you know that intersection, you know how noisy and busy it gets with all the rickshaws and people walking by. Our shop isn't hard to find if you look for the place with the most crates stacked up outside. We do a bit of everything when it comes to local gatherings. One day we are setting up a stage and the next we are making sure the rice is cooked just right for a hundred people. Running back and forth like this is basically our whole life. My hands are usually stained from something, either paint from a prop or spices from the kitchen. Our small team is mostly people from the neighborhood who have been with us for years. Fancy corporate talk isn't our thing. We just tell people what we can do and then we go out and do it. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in traffic near the Char Rasta, which makes us all a bit nervous about the timing. But somehow we usually manage to get things set up before the guests arrive. The storage area is a bit of a mess right now with all the new linens we got, but we'll sort it out eventually when we have a free afternoon. It's just a regular life here, working hard and hoping the weather stays clear for the outdoor setups. We have been at this spot for years and the locals know us.
