Shree Om Sai Hospital

Our place is right there in Suchak Apartment in Kalyan City. If you are looking for it, just look for the ICICI Bank because we are right near it. This hospital has been part of the neighborhood for a good while now. It is not one of those giant shiny buildings you see in the movies, but it is where we work every day. Usually, the morning starts with a lot of noise from the street outside, and then the patients start coming in. Some are locals from just down the road and others come from a bit further out in Kalyan. There are various rooms here and the staff is mostly people who live around here too. The waiting area gets a bit cramped when there are many people, especially on those hot afternoons when everyone wants to sit under the fan. Most of the day goes into looking at files and talking to families. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so people just take the stairs instead. The nurses are always moving around, trying to get things ready for the next person who needs help. No fancy slogans or anything like that are used here. It is just a hospital where we try to get the jobs done and help the people who walk through the door. Most days are long, but that is just how it goes in this kind of work. We know most of the faces that come in and that makes the days go by a bit better.
