Shree Om Industries

If you’re looking for us, we are tucked away in Units 1 and 2 of the U.K. Industrial Estate. It’s right in the Talwar Compound, which is pretty much across from Oswal Park on the 2nd Pokharan Road. It’s a busy spot in Thane. We’ve been operating out of these units for quite some time now. The space is a bit cramped once you get all the materials and the equipment inside, but we make it work. Most of the time, the air is thick with the smell of cutting oil and metal shavings. We aren't the kind of place that has a glossy brochure or a big sign with lights. Usually, the door is just open and you can hear the machines humming from the street. My brother and I, along with a few helpers, handle the daily tasks. We take in the jobs as they come, whether they are small repairs or bigger batches of parts. The traffic on Pokharan Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get our loading and unloading done early in the day. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy and we know most of the other shop owners around the compound. We just focus on the task in front of us and try not to get too behind on the schedule. It’s just honest shop work.
