Our workshop is tucked away in the Tiny Industrial Estate over in Bhayander East. We are located in Building 7C at Ostwal Park, which can be a bit tricky for people to find if they aren’t familiar with these particular backstreets. There is almost always the sound of a saw or someone sanding down a piece of wood coming from our unit. We have been doing furniture and interior work here for quite some time now, mostly helping people fix up their apartments or making a new cupboard when the old one finally falls apart. It gets pretty dusty inside with all the wood shavings, so we spend a lot of time sweeping up at the end of every day. We don’t have a big showroom with bright lights and fancy displays. Instead, you will mostly see us working with plywood, laminates, and various tools spread out across the shop floor. Sometimes a customer comes in with a rough drawing they made on a piece of scrap paper, and we sit down together to figure out how to make it fit in their room. It is honest work, and it keeps us busy from the morning until late in the evening. The industrial estate is a noisy place with lots of other small businesses doing their own thing, but we like it here. We focus on getting the measurements right because if you are off by even a few millimeters, the whole wardrobe won’t stand straight and the doors will never close quite right.
