Shivaji Hospital

Shivaji Hospital is part of the Thane Municipal Corporation setup. We are located right on the Kalwa Belapur Road in the Kalwa area. It is a very busy spot because of the main road right outside. Lots of people come here because it is a municipal facility and it’s easy to reach. We see a huge variety of cases every single day, from small things to bigger issues. The building is older and has that specific feel of a government facility. It is not always the quietest place to work, especially with all the traffic noise from Kalwa Belapur Road drifting in through the windows. We have a lot of different departments and many staff members running around. It can feel a bit chaotic during the peak hours in the morning. We try to manage the queues, but sometimes the wait times get a bit long. That is just how it is in a big public hospital like this one. We provide the care that is needed to whoever walks through the gates. The local community in Kalwa really relies on us. It is a tough job sometimes, working with so many patients every day. We do not have any fancy marketing or a polished corporate image. We are just a public hospital trying to keep up with the health needs of this part of Thane. You see everyone here and we just keep doing the work that is required.
