Shifa Hospital

Our hospital is on HBC Road in Ambarnath. If you know the area, you know how busy that road can get with all the cars and bikes moving about. We are right in the middle of it all. The building has been here for a while and shows its age a bit, but it works fine for what we do. Inside, there are several rooms where the doctors see patients throughout the day. We get a lot of people coming in for general things like coughs or stomach aches. Sometimes it’s more serious stuff that requires a longer stay. The waiting room has those basic plastic chairs that aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job while people wait their turn. We have a small team of staff who handle the paperwork and the daily cleaning. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the people coming through the doors constantly. The smell of disinfectant is pretty strong most days when you walk in. We don't have a big cafeteria, just a small space for water. People often go to the tea stalls nearby while they wait for their family members. It’s a simple setup. We have a pharmacy section too so people don’t have to go too far for their medicine. Life on HBC Road is fast, but inside the hospital, things have their own pace. We just try to get people treated and back home. It is a local place for Ambarnath folks who need a doctor.
