Sherman

If you take the Old Agra Road and look for the Vardhman Industrial Estate, you'll find Sherman at unit number 15. We aren't a massive corporation with a huge sign out front; we are more of a local operation that just gets things done. The estate itself is quite old, and our unit is packed with tools and supplies. We do a mix of things here, mostly focusing on whatever the local businesses or individuals need fabricated or fixed. Some days it’s quiet and we spend time cleaning the benches or organizing the bolts, and other days it’s a mad rush to finish a job by five o’clock. We don't have a website that looks professional or any marketing brochures to hand out. Most people find us because they heard from a neighbor or saw us working while they were passing by on the road. The air in the shop usually smells like cut metal and maybe a bit of welding smoke. We have a small radio that plays the local stations while we work, which helps keep the mood light when the jobs get difficult. It’s just a place where we use our hands and try to make things that last. We don't promise anything fancy, just honest work for a fair price, and we’ve been doing it that way for quite a while now. The space is small, but it works for us.
