Shayan Corporation

Our office is in the Jamuna Amrut building along S.V. Road in Jogeshwari West. If you have ever traveled on S.V. Road, you know the traffic is almost always at a complete standstill, so we hear a lot of frustrated honking from our windows on the third floor. We have been at number 302 for several years now. Shayan Corporation isn't a massive or impressive place; it is just a few simple rooms where we handle our daily business affairs. We spend a lot of time sitting at these old desks, looking at computer screens and talking to people on the phone. Sometimes the lift in this building acts up or gets stuck, so we end up taking the stairs, which I guess is good exercise for us. The office feels a bit lived-in, with stacks of old files and maybe a few plants in the corner that we occasionally forget to water. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy decor or modern furniture. We just want to get our work done and keep the business running as smoothly as possible. There is a small tea stall nearby that we visit way too often during our breaks. Most of our days are spent managing various orders and making sure all the paperwork is in the right place. It is a lot of small tasks that eventually add up over the week. We are just a small team trying to make a living in a very busy part of Mumbai.
