You can find us at 18, Sita Vihar, which is part of the Damani Estate. We do both marble and granite here at Sharda Marble & Granite Industries. The yard is usually quite busy with cutters and polishers working on the slabs. Granite is heavy and hard, so it takes some effort to move things around. We’ve been in this estate for a good bit of time. The office is small and simple. We prefer to be out where the stones are. Usually, the phone is ringing with people asking about prices or if a certain color is in stock. We don't do much advertising. Most people just walk in because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s a dusty job, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We have a lot of different sizes available. The granite comes in from different places and we stack it up. It’s a lot of manual labor. We don't have fancy uniforms or a polished reception area. It’s just a workplace where we get things done. Sometimes the trucks get delayed, but that’s just how the business goes. We try to be helpful when someone isn't sure what kind of stone will last longest. It’s a steady life here in Sita Vihar. We just focus on the stone and the orders we have to finish.
