Savio Knit Wear

Our place is Gala No. 108 inside the Vora Industrial Estate No. 2. It’s out in Navghar, Vasai East. We do knitwear, so the sound of machines is pretty much constant when you’re inside. It’s a small gala, but we’ve crammed a lot into it. We spend our days dealing with yarn, needles, and patterns. It’s not always easy work, and sometimes the machines give us trouble, but we get through it eventually. We aren't a big clothing brand you’d see in a mall. We’re just a small manufacturer supplying whoever needs knit goods. The estate can be a bit crowded, and finding parking for deliveries is always a bit of a struggle for the drivers. We’ve been here for several years now. We know the other shop owners around us and we all just try to get our work done. It’s a lot of repetitive tasks, checking the stitch and making sure the sizes are okay before they go out. We don't have a fancy showroom. Everything happens right there in the gala. It gets pretty warm in there, but we have a few fans going to keep the air moving. It’s just an honest way to earn a paycheck. We don't use any complicated systems, just old-fashioned hard work and keeping an eye on whether the items we make are actually usable. We don't have a mission or anything, just keeping the machines running and the orders filled for people who buy from us.
