Down in Turbhe, inside the MIDC area, you can find us at C-23 in the Punit Industrial Premises. It’s a big building, and we are tucked into Plot No.11A-Aad along the Thane Belapur Road. This part of town is always dusty because of the constant construction and all the heavy trucks moving past. Inside Chindalia Industrial Products Ltd, things are pretty straightforward. We have some desks, a lot of folders, and the usual inventory lists that never seem to end. The air conditioning in the office works when it feels like it, so we keep the windows open mostly. You can hear the noise from the main road all day long. Dealing with the industrial side of things means we spend a lot of time on the phone or checking crates. The tea stall across the street is where most of us head when the afternoon slump hits. It’s a practical workspace, nothing more. We move boxes, sign papers, and keep the lights on. Sometimes the deliveries get delayed because of the traffic on the highway, which is a major headache. We just try to get the work done without making too much of a fuss about it. Most of the people working here have been around for years and know the layout of the TTC area by heart. It gets hot in the afternoons but we have enough fans to keep the air moving.
