Out here in Jalna, things move at their own pace. Santabhagirathimai Agro Producer Company Limited is run by some of us who grew up in these parts. We are based at Radhakisan Narayan Jamwadi’s place in the Mdunit area. If you know the roads around here, you know it's mostly fields and small houses. We aren't a big corporation with people in suits. We are just farmers. Some days we are out in the dirt, and other days we are sitting in Radhakisan’s room trying to sort out the paperwork. It’s not the most exciting work, but it matters to us. Jalna 421203 is where we call home. We started this because we realized that when you’re on your own, it’s harder to get a fair shake at the market. So we put our names together. It took a while to get it all registered and legal, but we did it. There’s a lot of talk about how farming should change, but for us, it’s just about getting the seeds in the ground and hoping for rain. We don't use fancy words.
