Sangam Orchestra

Sangam Orchestra operates out of Flat No 1 in the A Wing of Uncln Cooperative Housing Society Ltd. It’s right there in Golden Nest Phase III on Mira Road. We’ve been using this flat for rehearsals for quite some time now. It's a bit of a tight squeeze when the whole group shows up with their instruments and gear. You can usually hear us practicing from the hallway, though we try not to bother the neighbors too much. Being in a residential society means we have to keep certain hours for the noise. It’s a good community here. We started doing music because we all enjoyed it, and it just grew from there into something more regular. We don't have a storefront or a big office. Most of our meetings happen just sitting around the living room area. Our instruments take up most of the space. Cables, speakers, and stands are tucked into every corner of the flat. It’s not a fancy studio, just a place where we get things done. People find us mostly by word of mouth in the Mira Road area. We handle our own bookings and manage the gear ourselves. Sometimes it’s chaotic, especially right before a performance when everyone is trying to coordinate. We just focus on getting the music right and showing up on time. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we know how to do.
