Sandeep

I'm Sandeep and I stay at A/304 in the White House building in Kalwa. If you're familiar with Thane, you know Kalwa is its own little world. It’s a crowded area, but it has everything you need. The White House is a decent enough building to live in. I’ve been here long enough that I know the shortcuts to avoid the worst of the traffic when I have to go out. My life is mostly centered around this apartment. I use one of the rooms as my workspace. It’s not a corporate office by any means. There are books and papers scattered around and it feels like a real home. I like the fact that I don't have to commute three hours every day into the heart of Mumbai. Thane is busy enough on its own. The view from my window is just other buildings and the street, but I don't mind it. I wake up, have breakfast, and then I’m at my desk for most of the day. It’s a bit of a solitary way to work, but I’ve grown to like it. I don't have a mission statement or any of that stuff. I just try to do a good job and keep my life simple. Sometimes the building gets a bit noisy with kids playing or people talking in the hallway, but that’s just part of living in an apartment complex. I’m happy where I am for now and I don't plan on moving.
