You can find us on the second floor of the Jay - Yashodham CHS. We are right at the Char Rasta area in Manpada, Dombiwali East. Being on the second floor of a residential society gives the place a bit of a different feel than a standalone building. You have to come through the main entrance of the CHS and head up. From the windows, you can look down at the Char Rasta intersection, which is always moving with rickshaws and people walking to the market. It’s a very central spot in Dombiwali. The hospital space itself has been partitioned to make room for the beds and the small office area where we keep the records. We spend a lot of time moving between the rooms, and since it’s a society building, we know the neighbors and the watchmen pretty well. The lighting is just regular tube lights, and we keep the floors swept throughout the day because of the dust from the road. It’s not a quiet area, but we are used to the noise of the city outside. Sometimes the patients' families sit in the hallway if the waiting area is full. We just keep things running as best as we can, handling the daily paperwork and the rounds. It is a busy place, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home and the crossroad gets really packed with commuters.
