Our office is located on Ghodbunder Road in Thane West, not too far from the Bayer India building. We go by Sai Krishna Engineering & Construction Pvt Ltd. It is a busy part of town with a lot of new buildings going up all the time. We fit right in because we are always dealing with construction projects ourselves. Our day usually starts with looking at plans and checking on materials. We have a lot of equipment moving in and out, and the office is often full of people in boots and high-vis vests. It is not a quiet place. There is always someone talking about a site or a delivery that is running late. We don't spend much money on making the office look pretty. We would rather spend it on better tools or making sure the jobs are done properly. We have a mix of younger guys and some who have been in construction for decades. We talk plainly and don't use a lot of big words. If a wall needs building or a structure needs engineering, we just get to it. It is hard work and the days can be long, especially when we are pushing to finish a stage of a project. We like being based in Thane because there is always something happening on Ghodbunder Road. We just keep our heads down and stay focused on the builds. It is what we do.
