Sahil Engineering

Sahil Engineering is over at 68 Mysore Road in Jogeshwari West. We are located inside the Gaswala Compound, which is right opposite the Veena Dalvai Industrial Estate. It’s a very industrial part of the city, so there’s always something going on. We do engineering work, mostly involving metal and machinery. The shop is full of heavy tools, lathes, and welding equipment. It’s often greasy and loud inside, but that’s the nature of what we do. We start early in the morning and usually finish up late. There isn't much of an office to speak of, just a small desk in the corner with some papers and a phone that rings quite a lot. Most of our time is spent out on the floor actually doing the work. The compound is shared with a few other businesses, so we see the same people every day. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when a delivery truck comes in, but we make it work somehow. We aren't a big company with many departments, just a few of us who know how to handle the machines and the metal. People come to us when they have something that needs a specific bit of work done. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do, we just take the job and finish it. It’s a basic, hard-working environment where the focus is on the work in front of us. We just keep at it and make sure the customers are satisfied.
