Sagar Structural Design Consultants is over at G-43 in the Eterniity Mall in Thane West. It’s right by Teen Hath Naka at the Marathon Chuak, which is one of the busiest spots you can imagine. The traffic outside is constant, but once you are inside the mall and in our office, it’s a bit quieter. We spend our time looking at structural drawings and doing calculations for buildings. It’s a lot of math and double-checking things to make sure everything is safe. We aren't architects who care about how pretty a building is; we are the ones who care about it staying up. The office is pretty functional with big desks for spreading out blueprints. We have a lot of folders stacked up on the shelves from old projects we’ve finished over the years. People stop by sometimes just to ask a quick question about a renovation or a new construction project. We don't really have a sales pitch. We just explain what needs to happen so a ceiling doesn't sag or a wall doesn't crack. Being in the mall is convenient because we can just step out for lunch at any of the shops nearby or grab a quick coffee. It’s a practical place to work, and we just try to be accurate with our numbers every single day without making things too complicated. We usually leave once the mall starts getting crowded in the evenings and the commute back home begins.
