S. M. S Exporters & Importers is located over at the Tarangan Complex in Wayle Nagar. It is a decent enough area in Kalyan West and pretty easy to find if you are familiar with the neighborhood. Most of our time is spent managing shipments coming in and going out. Some days we are waiting on crates to arrive, and other days we are scrambling to get boxes out the door. It is a mix of whatever products the market is looking for at the time. We do not have a big, polished corporate setup here; it is just a small team of us making sure the logistics work out. The office usually has some clutter from samples and files, but we know where everything is kept. Living and working in Kalyan means we have to deal with the local transport and the trains, which is just part of the routine. We handle both the export and import sides, though things do not always go perfectly smooth. There are often delays or issues with the paperwork, and we just work through them as they come up. We are not trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to do the job right and keep things moving. Most of our day is on the phone or tracking numbers. It takes a lot of coordination with suppliers and drivers.
