We’re based in J Block at the DAKC in Koparkhairne, Navi Mumbai. Our office is 3W84. It’s a massive complex, and sometimes even we get a bit lost in the corridors if we take a wrong turn after lunch. Working in communications means we are always dealing with phones, cables, and connections. It’s a lot of technical stuff that keeps us busy from morning until evening. The building is pretty big, so there are always people moving around. We aren't a small shop on the corner; we’re part of this larger hub. Our specific unit is where the actual work happens. It’s full of monitors, blinking lights, and wires. It’s not a particularly pretty place, but it is functional. We don't have much time for fluff or decorative things. Most of us are just focused on making sure the signals stay strong and the systems don't crash. The canteen in the complex is where we spend our breaks, and it’s always crowded with people from other departments. Navi Mumbai is a bit different from the main city, maybe a little more planned out, but it’s still hectic on the roads. We deal with a lot of data and hardware every single day. It can be exhausting, but it's what we know. We aren't here to give you a sales pitch. We just keep the communications running like they’re supposed to and make sure the work is finished on time.
