Ranragini Mahila Farmer Producer Companylimited is based in Akurade, which is a village in the Bhudargad area of Kolhapur. You can find us at House Number 549. We are a group of women from the local community who work the land. Farming is something we’ve always done, so starting this company felt like the next natural step for us. It gives us a way to pool our efforts. We don’t have a big staff or a fancy office building. Our work happens in the fields and then we handle the paperwork at the house. In Bhudargad, the seasons really dictate our lives. We grow what the soil allows and try to help each other out when things get tough. It's not a corporate setup with polished brochures. It's just us, wearing our regular clothes and dealing with the dirt and the rain. We talk about seed prices, rain levels, and where to sell our goods. Being a Mahila company means we are focused on the women farmers here in Akurade. We want to make sure we have a voice in how our crops are sold and how our farms are run. It’s a lot of responsibility, and sometimes the technical side of the company is confusing, but we figure it out together. We’re just local people doing what we know how to do, right here in Kolhapur, and we plan to keep it that way for the future.
