Ramraksha Hospital & Iccu

This hospital and ICCU unit is situated on Manere Road, right near the Telephone Exchange. It’s a busy location because the road connects a few different parts of the area. Having the telephone exchange nearby makes it easy for people to give directions to their friends or family. We have a few beds here and the ICCU for more serious cases that come in. The building is functional and laid out to make moving around easy, though it can feel a bit tight when we are full. There is always the hum of machines in the background and the smell of cleaning supplies. We see a lot of people from the Manere Road neighborhood and the surrounding streets. It’s a twenty-four-hour kind of place, so there is usually someone awake and moving around at all times of the night. The front area has some benches and a desk where we handle the admissions. It isn't a grand building by any means, just a practical one made of concrete and bricks. We’ve had to fix the plumbing a few times and the paint is peeling in some corners, but the equipment inside is what matters. People come to us when they are in a hurry or have an emergency, so we stay ready for whatever walks or is carried through those doors. It’s been our spot on Manere Road for quite a while now and we know the neighborhood very well.
