Rajaram Dies Maker

Our workshop is over in Jogeshwari West, specifically units 102 and 103 in the Veena Dalvaj Industrial Estate. We’re right near the old Ajit Glass landmark on S. V. Road. Making dies is a precise kind of job, even if the workshop looks a bit cluttered with metal scraps and oil. We’ve been at this for years, and Rajaram Dies Maker has become a bit of a staple in this industrial pocket of Oshiwara. It’s a loud place most of the time because of the machines running, but we’re used to it. We spend a lot of time hovering over blueprints and checking the measurements on the lathes. It’s not the kind of work you can rush. We’ve got a small team, mostly people who have been with us for a long time and know the machines inside out. Jogeshwari can be a nightmare for traffic, but being in this estate makes it easier to get things delivered. We don't have a website that’s updated every day or a fancy brochure. If someone needs a die made, they usually just come in and show us what they need. We talk it through, give them a timeline, and then get to work. The floor is always a bit greasy, and there’s always the smell of cutting fluid in the air. That’s just life in an industrial estate. We like the work though. It’s satisfying to see a finished piece of metal. It keeps us coming back every morning.
