Rajaram Dies Maker Limited

Our place is in the Veena Dalwai Industrial Estate, right over in Jogeshwari West. We are in units 102 and 103 on the ground level. If you find the Ajit Glass Factory, you are basically right there since we are just down the road from it. It’s a busy estate with lots of trucks coming in and out all day long. We make dies for manufacturing. It’s precision work but the workshop doesn't always look pretty or clean. There are iron shavings on the floor and the smell of cutting oil is pretty strong when the machines are running. We’ve been doing this for a long time now. Some of our workers have been with us since we first set up on the 5th Main road years ago. It’s hard work and your back gets pretty sore after a long shift. We don't have a reception area with coffee or soft chairs or anything like that. If you come by to see us, you’ll probably find us hunched over a machine or checking a blueprint under a bright lamp. We get orders from all sorts of companies, some big and some very small. Most of them have been coming to us for years because they know we just get on with the job. The building is solid but definitely showing its age. We spend most of our money on the machines rather than the office furniture. It’s loud, it’s hot, and there is always something needing to be finished before the day ends.
