Purplemuse Fashion Studio Llp is a small place we started over in Dombivli, near the P&T Colony. We are in Vedant Building Number 1, in room 105. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the main stations, but we still get a good amount of local foot traffic. The studio is where all the ideas happen. We’ve got rolls of cloth tucked into corners and pins everywhere. I usually start the day with a cup of tea and a look at what needs to be finished by the evening. We don’t really follow a strict corporate schedule; we just work until the job is done. Sometimes that means staying late when a customer needs something in a hurry. Being in Nandivali, we see the same faces every day, and it feels more like a community than just a place of business. We try to keep things simple and just focus on making clothes that people feel good wearing. It isn't a huge factory, just a studio where we put in the hours. The walls are covered with different color samples and notes scribbled on pieces of paper. We aren't trying to be the biggest name out there, we just want to keep making things that look nice and fit well. It's a lot of manual work and we take pride in that. Sometimes we get the designs wrong, but we just start over until it is right.
