About Project Engineer Automation – Art & Craft in Thane
We call ourselves Project Engineer Automation and we work out of the Janai area, specifically at Mansi Shrikande’s place. Dealing with automation means we spend a lot of time with sensors, wires, and control panels. It’s a bit different from traditional civil engineering, but the principle of just getting the job done is the same. We aren't some big tech company from the city with a lot of funding. We are just local people who happen to know how to make machines work together properly. The office is usually full of spare parts, wires, and half-finished circuits. It might look like a total mess to someone else, but we know exactly where everything is located. We don’t talk much about "innovation" or "the future" or any of those buzzwords. We just talk about making the pump turn on when the tank is empty or making the gate open when it’s supposed to. It’s practical stuff that people around here actually need in their daily lives. We do the work, test it until we’re absolutely sure it won't break, and then we move on. Sometimes a customer calls in the middle of the night because something stopped working, and we have to go out and fix it. That's part of being in the automation business. We don't mind it. We like seeing things work properly. It’s satisfying in a way that’s hard to explain to people who don't do this kind of work for a living.
