Prodigy Infomatics

Our place is in the Shreya Building, room 204. It is near the Konkanratna Hotel in Shankeshwarkrupa. This is right by the Chicken Ghar Highway in Kalyan. Being so close to the highway means there is always a lot of noise from the trucks and the dust settles on everything. We spend our days working on informatics and data entry. The office is a bit small and we have desks crammed in wherever they fit. There is a big window but we usually keep it shut because of the fumes from the road. We are not a big corporation with fancy coffee machines. We just have a kettle and some local tea packets. Kalyan is a busy place to be. The station is only a short walk away. Most of us take the local train to get here. The office is a bit cluttered with old hard drives and cables that we might need someday. We do not have any formal dress code or anything like that. Just wear whatever is comfortable for sitting at a desk all day. We have been here for a few years now and know the local shopkeepers well. It is a practical setup and we get our work done without much fuss. If the internet goes down, we just take a break until it comes back up. It is a simple way to work. It is not always easy with the heat but we make do with what we have.
