Pritams Dhaba

Pritams Dhaba is located right on National Highway Number 8 in Sasupada Village. We are pretty close to the Dahisar Check Post, which makes us a common stop for truck drivers and families traveling toward Vasai West. The place is exactly what you would expect from a highway dhaba. It’s a bit dusty from the road and there is always the sound of engines passing by, but we have plenty of benches and tables for people to sit down. We started this place because we knew people on the long drive would need a spot to rest and get some food. It’s not a fancy restaurant with air conditioning and white tablecloths. It’s just us in the kitchen cooking up whatever is on the menu for the day. We spend most of our time over the fire or cleaning up after the lunch rush. Sometimes the highway gets backed up near the check post, and we get a lot of tired people coming in just to stretch their legs. We don’t have a website or do any social media stuff. People just see our sign from the road and pull over. It’s a simple life out here in Sasupada. We live nearby and spend almost all our time at the dhaba. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, especially at night when the big trucks are moving. We just keep the lights on and the tea hot for whoever happens to stop by while they are on their way somewhere else.
