Polytech Instruments

Our setup is in A 3 of the Milap Apartment over in Thane. It’s a residential building, so we try to keep the noise down out of respect for the neighbors. We’ve been here in Maharashtra 421201 for quite a while. It’s mostly just a few benches with testing equipment and a lot of small parts in plastic bins. Dealing with instruments requires a bit of focus, so the quiet atmosphere of the apartment really helps us out. We don't have a big storefront or a neon sign. Most people find us through word of mouth or old contacts. My cousin and I run the daily operations, which usually involves checking sensors or calibrating various gauges. It’s not a high-speed environment. We take our time to make sure things are right before they go into a box for shipping. The hallways in the building can be narrow, so moving large crates is always a bit of a struggle. We’ve thought about moving to a proper industrial unit, but the rent here is fair and we know everyone in the building. It’s a comfortable routine for us. We brew our own tea in the small kitchen and spend the afternoons going through the backlog. It’s just honest, technical work without any of the fancy office politics. We are happy with how things are going and don't feel the need for a big corporate office. It suits us just fine.
