Unit number 123 is where you will find us, tucked inside the Devendra Industrial Estate. It is quite a busy area here in Lokmanya Nagar, especially in the mornings when everyone is arriving for work. Being near the Yashodhan Nagar bus stop makes it easier for people to describe where we are located, even though the estate itself is quite large and can be a bit confusing if you aren’t used to the layout. The post office at J.K. Gram is just a little way off too. We spend most of our time inside the unit dealing with the day-to-day work that comes with being in an industrial zone. It is not the kind of place with a lot of windows or a view, but it serves the purpose for what we do. The sounds of machinery and trucks loading stuff are just part of the background noise we have grown used to over the years. We have a small crew here and we all know each other well. Most of the people who come by are either looking for specific parts or are delivery drivers trying to find the right door. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the different businesses packed together, but we like the spot. It feels like a real working environment where people are actually making things happen. We just keep our heads down and handle the tasks that come across our desks each day until it is time to head home.
