Pharmatech Engineering Company is tucked away at 48 New Modella Industrial Estate. If you know Wagle Estate in Thane, you know it can be a bit of a maze sometimes. We are situated right behind Automatic Electrical Ltd, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find the place for the first time. The industrial estate has been here for years and it shows, but it is a solid place to work. There is always the sound of machinery or someone loading a truck nearby. We spend our days dealing with engineering stuff, mostly focused on things for the pharma industry since that is what our name says. The workshop floor gets a bit messy when we have a big project going on, but that is just part of the job. It is not a corporate office with glass walls and carpets. We have heavy benches and tools everywhere. Thane gets pretty humid, so the fans are always running in the afternoon. Most of the guys have been here a long time and we know the neighborhood well. There is a small tea stall just down the road where everyone goes during the break. It is just a regular engineering shop doing its thing in the middle of a busy industrial area. We don't spend much time on decorations or looking fancy. We just make sure the machines are running and the work gets finished. It is a noisy, busy, and honest place.
