Ourmet Foods Private Limited

Ourmet Foods works out of Kukshet Village, which is part of the Juinagar MIDC area in Navi Mumbai. Our unit is D-11 on the PAP Plot. It’s a very industrial setting with lots of warehouses and small factories all around us. The roads here are a bit rough, and it gets quite hot in the afternoons inside the unit. We do our food processing work here, and there is always some machine running or someone moving pallets around. We chose this spot because it's close to the main transport links, which helps us get our products out. The air smells like whatever we are making that day, sometimes sweet and sometimes a bit more savory. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in our work clothes, maybe a bit sweaty if the fans aren't doing their job. We’ve been operating out of this Navi Mumbai location for a few years. Our neighbors are mostly other small workshops, so everyone just minds their own business. It’s a practical setup for what we do. We don't spend money on expensive furniture; we’d rather keep the equipment running well. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the details, but that’s how we like to run things. Sometimes we even have to fix the plumbing ourselves when things go wrong in the unit.
