Our place is out in Navi Mumbai at A 403, Keshav Kunj 2. It’s Plot Number 3 in Sector 15, right along Palm Beach Road in Sanpada. The view of the road is actually pretty good from here. Being in Maharashtra 400703 means we are away from the main madness of Mumbai city, but it’s still busy enough. The building is a residential society, so it has that family atmosphere. You see kids playing in the compound when we leave in the evening. A 403 is on the fourth floor. The rooms are fairly spacious for an office setup. We’ve got our desks pushed against the walls to make more space in the middle for moving around. The salt air from being near the water sometimes makes things a bit sticky, but that’s just how it is in Navi Mumbai. We have a small balcony where people go to take phone calls or just get some fresh air. Palm Beach Road is great for the commute because it’s wide and mostly clear, unlike the interior roads that get choked. We usually get our chai from a guy who has a stall just outside the main gate. It’s a decent place to spend the day. Nothing too fancy, just a regular flat where we get things done. It feels steady and calm compared to the rest of the city. Most of us have lived in the area for years.
