We are based out of a small room in Vasai, specifically Room Number 9 in the Marryvilla building. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. Mostly, our day is spent dealing with steel orders and making sure everything is moving on time. The building is in Manickpur, and the neighborhood is pretty busy with people going about their business. Inside the office, there is a lot of paperwork piled up on the desks and a couple of computers that have seen better days. When the weather gets hot in Maharashtra, the ceiling fan works overtime, but we just keep our heads down and get through the work. We talk to vendors and handle the logistics of moving steel from one place to another. It gets noisy sometimes because of the location, but you get used to it after a while. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't need much ceremony to get things done. We drink a lot of tea while we look over the delivery schedules. Sometimes a client drops by to discuss a project, and we just pull up a chair and talk it out over the noise of the street. It’s practical work. We don’t have much time for fancy speeches or marketing. We just try to keep the steel solutions moving and make sure the accounts are right at the end of every month. The room is small but it works for us.
