I work out of room 302 in Amar Villa. You’ll find it near Lal Chowki in the Parnaka part of Kalyan. The building itself is just a standard apartment block, so there's nothing too flashy about the place. My office is just one of the rooms where I’ve set up a couple of desks and some filing cabinets. I’ve been doing this on my own for a while now. It’s a lot of work handling everything yourself, from the phone calls to the actual paperwork. Some days the sun hits the window just right and it gets really warm in here. I usually keep the curtains half-closed to keep the glare off my screen. I don’t have a big team or a receptionist sitting at the front. If you come by, it’s just me. I’ve lived in Kalyan most of my life, so I know the shortcuts and where to get the best lunch nearby. The building can be a bit noisy in the afternoons with the kids playing outside, but I’ve gotten used to it. My desk is usually a mess of notes and pens. I try to stay organized, but when things get busy, that’s the first thing to go. I don't have any big corporate goals or anything. I just want to do my work honestly and get home at a decent hour. It’s a simple life and I like the independence of it. People in the building know what I do, and we talk.
